When I was about 11 years old, I fell in love with figure skating. I was glued to the tv whenever it came on, and admired my idols such as Kurt Browning, Katerina Witt, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz, Elvis Stojko and the list goes on. Watching them skate took me to my happy place. I took some skating lessons for fun, I wished I had started sooner!

Two weeks ago, it was an honour for me to capture the Stars on Ice shows in Toronto, and Hamilton, Ontario. They call themselves the "Stars on Ice Family", and you can truly feel that they are family when you are with them. They work so hard together, day and night to put on this incredible show, which takes place ever year in every major city across Canada. All the skaters are so beautiful and incredibly talented. Be sure to catch them next year!
